If something needs to be fixed when I move in, what should I do?
Make a detailed list of anything that needs to be repaired when you move into the property and give it to the landlord. Have it signed and dated by the landlord. Such things that need fixing can be added to the lease in a rider or addendum. It’s a good idea to also include a date when the repair should be made.
