Board Approves Financial COI Policy Revisions
At its September meeting, the University's Board of Directors approved revisions to the University's Financial Conflicts of Interest Policy. The University Financial Conflict of Interest Committee, chaired by Edward Soule, Ph.D., of the McDonough School of Business, worked on the revisions over the past year. The revisions bring the policy up-to-date to reflect changes at Georgetown and in federal and other guidance on conflicts of interest since the implementation of the original version of the policy. Members of the University Conflict of Interest Committee and the campus conflict of interest officers (Sheila Zimmet (GUMC), Linda Davidson (Law), Darryl Christmon (Main), James Reuter (Univ. Svcs.)) are working on new versions of disclosure forms and on outreach concerning the policy. Stay tuned!
