The conference, sponsored by the University's Initiative on Religion, Politics, and Peace, explored the changing relationship between politics and religion on both sides of the Atlantic. Participants included leading US and European scholars from the disciplines of philosophy, political science, religious studies, sociology, and theology. A book based on the conference is forthcoming from Oxford University Press in early 2007.
