You can retract it as long as the sign-up period is still open. Retract your application by going to Jobs > Applications > Withdraw Application.

The workshop usually lasts 45 minutes to an hour.

Can the employers see the name of files that I upload into Hoya Career Connection?
Employers may be able to see file names depending on the software they use to view the files. We encourage you to operate under the assumption that the employer can see the file name.

I cannot apply for an on-campus recruiting job. How do I get access?
You must attend an on-campus recruiting workshop to be able to apply for jobs on Hoya Career Connection. If two business days have passed since you attended an OCR workshop and you still cannot apply for a job, check the gray box on the left side of the screen containing the job description. It should contain a message explaining why you can't apply (e.g., the résumé drop period may not have started, you may not have the correct work authorization status, etc.).

I went to an on-campus recruiting workshop last year. Do I need to attend one again?
If you attended a workshop prior to the 2005-2006 academic year, you must attend another workshop. We have a new on-campus recruiting system, Hoya Career Connection, and it’s important that you go through an orientation. After you have attended a workshop about Hoya Career Connection, you do not need to attend another.

Does Hoya Career Connection have only finance jobs?
No. Hoya Career Connection has jobs from many different industries. There tends to be a high number of financial services jobs because companies in those industries often recruit large numbers of students. But Hoya Career Connection is not limited to finance jobs.
