Fall Career Fair

Each fall, the Career Education Center hosts one of the Washington area's best career fairs, connecting more than 800 students from Georgetown University and surrounding schools to a wide range of employers.  The Career Education Center serves all undergraduate students and graduate students (except for Law Center, MBA, Medical Center, Graduate Program in Public Policy and Graduate School of Foreign Service students who are served by their own career centers).  Our career fair is open to all Georgetown students from all schools and programs, though it is most heavily attended by the students the Career Education Center serves.


Our fall career fair is scheduled for September 26, 2008 from 10am-3pm at the Georgetown University Conference Center, Leavey Center.  Employers recruiting for full time and internship positions are welcome.

Registration for Career Fair 2008 will begin August 1, 2008 at 12pm.  Registration fees are as follows:

For-profit organizations: $700
Government agencies: $400
Non-Profit organizations: $275

AV is available for $20 and Internet for $350.

To register for the fair:
1) Go to Hoya Career Connection and login and/or create and account. (if you need to create an account a password will be mailed to you. Once you receive your password you can then proceed to step 2).
2) Select "Events"
3) Click "Register from the Career Fair tab (after August 1)

If you no longer remember your HCC password, select the "forgot password button from the login screen and a new one will be emailed to you. 

All registrations will be managed online through Hoya Career Connection and cannot be accepted through phone, email or fax.

Registration includes:
A limited number of career fair sponsorships are available for $1000 (in addition to registration fees) for for-profits and $700 for government and non-profits. Sponsors receive:

Booth size limitations: Display tables are 6-ft X18-in. ALL display materials must fit within these dimensions. Please measure your display booth to make sure that it does not exceed this width or length. In order to be fair to all employers, only booths within these dimensions will be displayed on the 26th.

Cancellation policy:
All cancellations must be received by email to recruitingemployer@georgetown.edu. Cancellation fees will be assessed as follows:
Cancellations more than 21 days in advance: full refund
Cancellations 15 to 21 days: 75% refund
Cancellations 8 to 14 days: 50% refund
Cancellations 7 days or less: no refund
