About the Program
The EHLS program is designed for naturalized U.S. citizens to build up the communication skills needed for government careers. It is the only program of its kind that combines Advanced English language training with Professional Communication skills and strategies. All accepted students will receive full scholarships covering tuition and a living stipend from the National Security Education Program.
Upon completion of the intensive 6-month program, scholars would be able to receive continued language training and job search advising. This 14-week program from July - October 2009 will be offered on evenings and weekends. Tuition for post program training is not covered by the scholarship.
