Alumni Notes

The Meyers Institute of College Preparation would like to recognize Ms. Britney McCoy (ICP Class of 2001) for the completion of her AB Engineering Honors Senior Thesis in 2006 and congratulate her on her acceptance to Carnegie Mellon University for Doctorate Studies. In 2007, Britney won the Teresa Heinz Scholars Award for Environmental Research at Carnegie Mellon University. Britney's achievements in her undergraduate work on Environmental Justice issues at Lafayette College have been featured in two articles in the Lafayette News: Britney McCoy '05 Uses Childhood as Inspiration to Research Environmental Justice in Urban Areas and Britney McCoy '05 Seeks Environmental Justice. 

In addition, the Meyers Institute for College Preparation would like to congratulate the following members of the Class of 2001 on their graduation in 2006: Gwinetta Davis from Howard University, Christina Olunkule from Bennett College, and Jeremiah Johnson from the University of Maine.
