TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE

Access to and use of the photographs and other images, text files, audio and video recordings, online chats and blogs, and other data (collectively, the “Content”) are subject to the following terms and conditions:

1.  The Content on the EnVisionChurch.org web site (the “Site”) is protected by copyright and may be covered by other restrictions as well.  EnVisionChurch and its sponsor, The Georgetown Center for Liturgy of Georgetown University, retain all rights, including copyright, in the Content contained in the Site’s files.  Copyright and other proprietary rights may be held by individuals or entities other than, or in addition to, EnVisionChurch and/or The Georgetown Center for Liturgy.

2.  The Content is made available for limited non-commercial, educational, research, and personal use only.  Users may download these files for their own use, subject to any additional terms or restrictions which may be applicable to the individual file or program.  However, users must cite the creator (e.g., author, artist, photographer or videographer, speaker, etc.) and source of the Content as they would content from any printed work or work in any other medium.  Users must also include in citations the URL”www.EnVisionChurch.org.”  EnVisionChurch and The Georgetown Center for Liturgy do not warrant that use of the Content included on the Site will not infringe upon the rights of third parties (including the creators of the Content) not owned by or affiliated with EnVisionChurch and/or The Georgetown Center for Liturgy.

Copying or redistribution in any manner for commercial use, including commercial publication, or for personal gain is strictly prohibited.

Users may not put Content from the Site on personal web sites or on CD-Roms, public domain or otherwise.

3.  The trademarks, service marks, and logos displayed on the Site are registered and/or unregistered marks of EnVisionChurch and/or The Georgetown Center for Liturgy.  The trademarks, service marks, and logos of third parties may also appear on the Site.  Such marks and logos may not be used without the express written permission of EnVisionChurch, the Georgetown Center for Liturgy, or a third party who owns the mark or logo.  Any unauthorized use of such marks and logos is strictly prohibited.

4 .  EnVisionChurch reserves the right to publish on its Web site the images and any accompanying information regarding those images that we receive.  We may edit the information for clarity or brevity and identify the contributor of the images/information by name and location.  Be sending us images and accompanying information, you agree to these terms.

5.  These Terms and Conditions are subject to revision.  Users are bound by any such revisions and are encouraged to periodically visit this page to review the current Terms and Conditions.

GALLERY OF IMAGES: TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE

The images on EnVisionChurch are available for limited non-commercial, educational, research, and personal use only, or for fair use as defined by United States Copyright Law. Users may download these images for their own use, subject to additional terms or restrictions which may be applicable to the individual image or file. The user agrees to cite the creator (e.g., artist, photographer, etc.) of the image content, and the citation must include the URL for EnVisionChurch (www.envisionchurch.org). EnVisionChurch and the Georgetown Center for Liturgy do not warrant that use of the Content included on the Site will not infringe upon the right of third parties not owned by or affiliated with EnVisionChurch and/or The Georgetown Center for Liturgy.

The copying or reproduction, distribution, publication, or retransmission of any images on this site for commercial use or for personal gain without the appropriate permissions from EnVisionChurch and the Georgetown Center for Liturgy or the copyright holder is strictly prohibited.

ENVISIONCHURCH QUIZ RULES

The EnVisionChurch quiz will be conducted as described here, and by participating, each participant agrees as follows:

1. Description of Quiz/Participation. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. EnVisionChurch will include a quiz question in its monthly e-newsletter. (Register now to receive the monthly e-newsletter.) You may submit your answer by clicking on one of the answer options presented in the e-newsletter or by sending an e-mail to envisionchurch@georgetown.edu (subject line: quiz). If your answer is correct, your name will be entered into a random drawing along with the names of other EnVisionChurch e-newsletter recipients who submitted correct answers. There will be one winner selected each month. The winner will be notified via e-mail. There will be one quiz question per month. EnVisionChurch has the right to end the quiz at any time without notice.

2. Prize. The winner will receive an EnVisionChurch mug.

3. Eligibility. Participants must be 18 years of age or older, and have not won a prize within the last 6 months.

4. Release. By participating, each participant and winner waives any and all claims of liability against Georgetown University, The Georgetown Center for Liturgy, and EnVisionChurch, their employees, sponsors and agents, for any personal injury or loss which may occur from the conduct of, or participation in, the quiz, or from the use or misuse of any prize.
