John Page Received Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice Medal

On Sunday, July 1, 2007, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Washington, D.C., the Most Rev. Donald W. Trautman, Bishop of Erie, PA and Chairman of the U.S. Bishops' Committee on the Liturgy conferred the Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice Medal on Dr. John Robert Page. Dr. Page worked on the staff of the International Commission on English in the Liturgy (ICEL) from 1972-2002, serving as Executive Secretary from 1980-2002. The Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice Medal is an honor bestowed on Catholic lay people and clergy who have given outstanding service to the Church.
