The death of architect & liturgical design consultant Bill Brown
It is with sadness that the EnVisionChurch staff passes along the news that Mr. Bill Brown, AIA, of Colorado Springs, Colorado died on June 11, 2008. For many years, Bill was one of the leading voices in church architecture and design of worship spaces in the United States. He was a founding member of the ACLS (Association of Consultants for Liturgical Space) and a frequent presenter at Form/Reform conferences. Bill expressed his great enthusiasm about EnVisionChurch and wrote an article for the site -- "One Hundred Years of Change in Catholic Worship Space Design." His contributions to the field will be missed.
"Blessed are those you have died in the Lord; let them rest from their labors for their good deeds go with them. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord. May he rest in peace." (Order of Christian Funerals)
