Koffi Mbairamadji is a native of Chad, Africa . He moved to the United States in 2002 and presently lives in St. Paul, Minnesota. All aspects of his multi-disciplinary art work, including painting, film and writing, depicts the Bible and its goal of bringing peace, hope, and salvation to people.   He has had exhibits in Europe and the U.S.A. His art can be seen in churches and private collections.

Each one of Koffi’s paintings shown on EnVisionChurch is inspired by a verse from one of the books of the Bible. The artist selected one specific verse and then allowed his imagination to translate this verse into the images, colors, and shapes of his native and the broader African context. Relative to the verse, the paintings at times are vibrant in color and quick in movement; others are dark and broody; still others are serene and mystical. Most of his paintings are acrylic on canvas. He sometimes uses oils on canvas.
