Dr. Joe Neale Connects Teaching With Research in Hughes Program
The Georgetown-Hughes Undergraduate Research Scholars program is a reflection of Dr. Joe Neale's passion for research, which he traces back to his years as an undergraduate student at Georgetown. Bound for graduation in 1966 and preparing his senior thesis in the lab of mentor and then-chair of the Department of Biology, Dr. George Chapman, he realized how "exciting it was to explore the unknown in science."
