Dr. Travis Holman, a professor in the Department of Chemistry at Georgetown University, sees his lab as a place to play, to stretch the boundaries of molecular chemistry, to build new molecular structures, and to see what can be done with them.
"In chemistry it's so easy to get lost in the terminology. Dr. Holman works very hard to present it in a very relevant way. I mean, what is more relevant than the literal make-up of everything around us?"
"I'll definitely be continuing to work with organometalics as I pursue a Ph.D. in chemistry. While my work may not be exactly the same as what I've done with Dr. Holman, the lessons I've learned from working with him will help me for the rest of my career."
