What is your favorite city, country or place that you’ve visited?
I’ve been many, many places, but I love Paris, Algiers, and Romania (Bukovina). I love to travel when I can.
If you could choose a famous figure to take with you in your travels or to help you in your research, who would it be and why?
I would love to travel with Machiavelli because he is the greatest Italian playwright. And Goldoni, because he is another great Italian playwright.
What is your favorite thing about Washington, DC?
There are several things: Georgetown University, The Library of Congress, and the National Gallery. DC is a beautiful city.
What would you be doing if you weren’t studying Italian theater?
I would love to be a wine farmer in Italy.
