American Studies at Georgetown University is host program to a number of projects, including:

Jesuit Plantation Project
During American Civilization I and II, students contribute to the progress of the Jesuit Plantation Project, a program effort to construct an electronic archive of material from the six Jesuit-owned plantations in southern Maryland.

The Crossroads Project
Crossroads is an international networking and curriculum innovation project of the American Studies Association with sponsorship from Georgetown University. The Crossroads Project gratefully acknowledges past funding from the U.S. Department of Education FIPSE Program and the Annenberg/CPB Project.

Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship (CNDLS)
CNDLS has issued American Studies an Undergraduate Learning Initiative (ULI) grant, which American Studies faculty are using to improve the use of classroom technology.

Special American Studies Collections at Lauinger Library

Electronic Resouces for the Heath Anthology of American Literature
Additionally, faculty members participate in the creation of American Studies print and electronic resources.
