Department of Anthropology

In September 2007, the Anthropology faculty unanimously voted to approve a senior honors thesis for Anthropology majors. Students must apply to a faculty committee to have the opportunity to research and write a thesis under the direction of a faculty mentor. Eligibility is based on a 3.7 GPA in the major, submission of a research abstract outlining the problem, its importance to anthropology, the research design, a bibliography and the name of a faculty mentor.
