Minor Degree Requirements

All Arabic Minors are required to take 6 courses.

• First Level Modern Standard Arabic I
• First Level Modern Standard Arabic II
• Second Level Modern Standard Arabic I
• Second Level Modern Standard Arabic II

2 semesters from the following:
Completion of course sequence is not mandatory, as long as prerequisites are met.

• ARAB 113, 114 Formal Spoken Arabic or 115, 116 Egyptian Arabic
• ARAB 211, 212 Third Level Modern Standard Arabic
• ARAB 213, 214 Third Level Modern Standard Arabic: Media
• ARAB 351, 352 Introduction to Arabic Culture
