This is an effort by the department of economics to provide some of the best economic web sites containing comprehensive information on: economic and financial resources; statistical resources for economics; economic systems,working papers and other valuable information. Certain data may appear on more than one of the following resources.

  • A list of United States Economics Departments on the web. As of November 1999 there were 320 listed. Maintained by Oklahoma State University.
  • A list of Economics Departments outside the U.S. Maintained by University of Victoria, BC.
  • Resources for Economists On the WWW This is a comprehensive web site which provides numerous links to conferences; journal data; U.S. macro and regional as well as world data; general economics and teaching; research organizations; working papers; finance and financial markets and other economic resources available on the internet.
  • The University of Quebec (QM&RBC). This provides an excellent list of links to various economic resources, including agriculture, banking, central banks, economic modeling, econometrics, economic growth and history, resources for teachers, the internet network and resources, international trade, game theory, post-Keynesian Thought, quantitative macroeconomics and many more, for economic researchers.
  • The Information Economy, a collection of documents by the economist Hal Varian, provides links to the economics of the internet, government resources, intellectual property, international economics, pricing, miscellaneous resources and policy and law
  • The University of Nebraska's Economic Information provides comprehensive links to some of the best sites and texts in economics.
  • Antitrust Policy is a huge online web site linking economic research, policy & cases, and anti-trust matters. It also provides links to sites on mergers, price fixing, vertical restraints and other information.
  • Dr. T's Econlinks.com provides a comprehensive, yet concise, index of useful links for Economists and anyone interested in Economics, Business and Finance.

  • Virtual Finance Library- provides a comprehensive list of links to investment banks, finance on the WWW, popular finance web sites, including companies on the NYSE, NASDAQ and other financial sites. It also provides a financial data finder.
