Heidi Byrnes elected to Presidency of the American Association for Applied Linguistics
Professor Heidi Byrnes was recently elected to assume the Presidency of the American Association for Applied Linguistics. Beginning her term of office as 2nd Vice President in the spring of 2008, she will serve as 1st Vice President and Program Chair of the 2010 AAAL conference in Atlanta and thereafter as President and Past President.
