Imagine starting your study of German in the fall 2009 semester and then, just a year and a half later, enrolling as a fully matriculated student at a university in Germany or Austria in the spring of 2011 !

Here’s how it works:

Fall 2009
Take Introductory German II or Intensive Introductory German here at Georgetown
(GERM 002, 3 credits or GERM 011 - 6 credits)

Spring 2010
Take Intensive Intermediate German at Georgetown
(GERM 032)

Summer Session I
Take Intensive Advanced German at the Georgetown Summer Program in Trier, Germany (May 30 - July 4)

OR


Summer Sessions I and II
Take Advanced I and Advanced II at the Georgetown Summer School (GERM 101 & 102 – 3 credits each)

Fall 2010
Take ‘Text in Context’ here at Georgetown (GERM 152 – 3 credits)

Spring 2011
Study for a semester or the entire junior year in Berlin, Munich, Vienna, or Tübingen!!
