George Shambaugh is co-PI on a grant of $727,000 recently awarded by the National Science Foundation. The project is entitled "Societal Implications of Individual Differences in Response to Turbulence: The Case of Terrorism," with Roxanne Silver (UCI) principal investigator and Richard Matthew (UCI) and Shambaugh as co-PIs. The grant is being funded by the Human and Social Dynamics Priority Area in the NSF. This multidisciplinary project will focus on the sociological and political implications of uncertainty associated with the threat and realization of terrorist attacks
