CR Student Sheila Mwiandi Authors USIP Kenya Brief

Second-year student Sheila Mwiandi recently authored a USIPeace Briefing on internal displacement issues in Kenya.  The full article, entitled "Moving Beyond Relief: The Challenges of Settling Kenya's Internally Displaced," includes comments from a June 17 United State Institute of Peace panel discussion on the same topic moderated by CR Adjunct Professor Dorina Bekoe. 

During the spring and summer of 2008 Sheila Mwiandi was research assistant in the Sustainable Economies Center of Innovation at the United States Institute of Peace.  She is also a 2007 recipient of the prestigious Georgetown University Pedro Arrupe Scholarship for Peace.
