CR Alumna Lauren Edelstein ('08) was invited last month to co-author a poster presentation at the 4th International Clinical Bioethics Consultation Meeting in Croatia this fall. For the presentation Edelstein contributed an overview of the conflict management training she developed while a bioethics intern and graduate student at Georgetown. With this presentation she adds to her list of publications, one of which is available in the online May/June 2008 issue of Patient Safety and Quality Healthcare.
Edelstein currently works as a Patient Relations Specialist at Howard County General Hospital, in Columbia, MD. She is also involved in an international working group for healthcare conflict management training which evolved from the June 2008 "Creating Cultures of Engagement in Health Care" International Conference she attended in Omaha, Nebraska.
