CR Director Fathali Moghaddam Testifies Before Congress on Islamic Extremism

On July 10, Conflict Resolution Program Director and Professor of Psychology Fathali Moghaddam, PhD, testified before the U.S. Congress on "Violent Islamic Extremism." 

Prof. Moghaddam is an expert on intergroup relations.  His latest book, “How Globalization Spurs Terrorism: The Lopsided Benefits of “One World” and Why That Fuels Violence” (Praeger Security International 2008), examines modern Islamic terrorism in the context of globalization and cultural evolution.
