New Graduate Student Open Houses

The GPSA is happy to announce that the Department of Government will be hosting two Open Houses for students offered admission to the program for the fall of 2007:

March 30th for the Ph.D program, and

April 13th for the MA programs (Conflict Resolution, Democracy Studies, American Government, and International Law).

Open House is designed to introduce prospective students to life as a grad student in Georgetown's Government Department. In addition to formal introductory sessions with Professors George Shambaugh (Chair), Michael Bailey(Director of Graduate Studies) and individual faculty from the four sub-fields, prospective students will have the opportunity to meet informally with current students and ask the "real questions" about life at Georgetown.

The day will be capped off with "First Friday" drinks and, on March 30th, a party at the home of some current grad students. For further information, please contact Tatiana Mollazadeh (tm62@georgetown.edu)
