Georgetown Graduate Student Research Series

The Graduate Student Research Series is back after a two-year hiatus. The Student Research Series provides advanced ABDs a chance to present a chapter from their dissertation and to solicit comments and critiques from an audience of their peers.

It is a busy time of the semester, but come and support your fellow graduate students! Lunch will be provided.

We are pleased to announce that two graduate students will be presenting their work at the end of this semester:

Tuesday, April 24 1:00-2:30 ICC 662

Luis Granados will present a chapter from his dissertation, "Adobes in Flux, Entrenched Tributes: Explorations on the Barrios of Late Bourbon Mexico City."

Tuesday, May 1 12:30-2:00

Andy Wackerfuss will present a chapter from his dissertation, "The Stormtrooper Family: How Sexuality, Spirituality, and Community Shaped the Hamburg SA."

Copies of each chapter will be left in the front of the department in advance of each session.
