From the GLSA website:
"GLSA (Graduate Linguistics Student Association) is a body of graduate students in linguistics who, if you are a grad student in our department, exists for the sole purpose of enhancing your quality of life at georgetown. All of our meetings are open to you and you are welcome and encouraged to participate as much as you so desire. In fact, if you have a contribution you would like to make and we don't have an official position for that, we'll make one! Meeting times and the minutes for past meetings (generally monthly) will be posted on this web page and you can always contact any of the officers or representatives."
