New Faculty
We are excited to announce that this semester, several faculty will be joining the Department of Sociology. Dr. Yolanda Gibbons will be joining the Sociology unit. The department extends a hearty welcome to each of these valued additions to the team.

Sam Marullo Promoted to Full Professor
Please join us in congratulating Sam Marullo on his recent promotion from associate to full professor. In addition to serving as Chair of the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, Dr. Marullo is also now a Professor of Sociology.

Professor Daddio wins Bunn Award
This past May, at the College's annual Tropaia ceremony, professor Bill Daddio was presented with the Bunn Award for Faculty Excellence. The award is annually presented to a member of the College Faculty who, in the estimation of the College Senior Class, is admired and respected by all students for service to Georgetown and her students. He graciously received the award and gave the Bunn lecture.
