Job Description:
The Georgetown University Department of Sociology is seeking to fill a tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level. We are looking for people who are both excellent scholars and talented teachers. The areas of specialization sought are: 1. Race and Ethnic Relations, 2. Education or Gender Roles, and 3. the ability to teach either Research Methods and Social Statistics or Social Theory. Experience with community-based teaching, learning and research or Social Justice Analysis is important. All faculty teach Introduction to Sociology.
