Conference on Societies, Families, and Planet Earth: Exploring the Connections



The Department of Sociology and The Bowen Center for the Study of the Family
present a two-day conference, Societies, Families, and Planet Earth: Exploring the Connections, on Saturday April 18th from 8am-5pm and Sunday April 19th from 8:30am-5pm, 2009. Four half-day panels examine Bowen’s concept of emotional process in society, with emphases on linkages among individuals, families, societal functioning, and environmental concerns/responsibilities. The event is in Reiss Science Building 103 as well as the Intercultural Center Auditorium, and is open to the Georgetown University community—GU ID needed.
