XXXVIII International Conference of the Instituto International de Literatura Iberoamericana (IILI)
The Department of Spanish & Portuguese cordially invites the intellectual community to join us in the XXXVIII International Conference of the Instituto International de Literatura Iberoamericana (IILI) to be held at Georgetown University (Intercultural Center) on June 9-12, 2010.
This conference commemorates the bicentennial independences of Latinamericans countries through the revision of the state of social and cultural representations during this period. This event will create a wide space for discussions of ideas, theories, and historical accounts, generated by analyses of the literature, criticism and Latinamerican cinema. This event will be conducted entirely in Spanish.
