2010 Catalan Film Festival

Georgetown University’s Department of Spanish and Portuguese is inviting you to the Catalan Film Festival.  This year’s program will consist of 5 movies that will be shown in the months of March and April with free pizza and soft drinks. The Festival will conclude on the Day de Sant Jordi, Friday April 23rd, with the showing of “Amor Idiota” (Ventura Pons, 2006).  Additionally, there will be a colloquium and roundtable discussion about “Catalan Cinema: Present and Future.” The talk will explore new opportunities and challenges in Catalan cinematography in a globalized world.
