    Our Department Chair is Dr. Alfonso Morales-Front and our Directors of Graduate Study are Dr. Michael Ferreira (Linguistics) and Dr. Gwen Kirkpatrick (Literature).

    There is also the Graduate Student Organization (GSO) that addresses the needs and concerns of the graduate student community at Georgetown and the Graduate Students of Spanish & Portuguese Organization (GSPSO) which meets regularly to discuss life in the department and to address our specific concerns and questions regarding the Department of Spanish & Portuguese.
