Welcome Letter

Dear new student,

Congratulations on your acceptance to Georgetown!  You have worked hard to get to this point, and are about to embark on one of the most exciting and challenging journeys of your academic career.  We are excited to have you join our dynamic team, and wish to make your transition into graduate school as smooth as possible.  The purpose of this information packet is to help prepare you before you arrive to Georgetown.  Here, I have listed prerequisites and important dates that you’ll need to plan ahead for, as well as welcome information.  During this summer, please feel free to contact me or the Director of Graduate Studies (DGS) Michael Ferreira: linguistics, Emily Francomano: literature) should you have any questions.  We look forward to greeting you at Georgetown.

Sincerely,
