Thesis Option
The thesis option requires 36 total credits consisting of:
- CCTP-505 Introduction to CCT (3 credits)
- CCTP-510 CCT Seminar Modules (1 credit per module, 3 modules required)
- Research Methods Course (3 credits) can be taken at any time during a student's studies
- CCTP-996 Thesis Colloquium (6 credits)*
- CCTP 999-03 Thesis Research (0 credits) keeps students enrolled full-time while completing theses
- Seven Elective Courses (3 credits each) Elective courses are any non-core courses.
- Thesis Project, done in conjunction with Thesis Colloquium
*Students who matriculated prior to Summer 2004 take Thesis Colloquium for three credits, and take 33 total credits to complete their CCT degrees.
Coursework Option
The coursework option requires 39 total credits consisting of:
- CCTP-505 Introduction to CCT (3 credits)
- CCTP-510 CCT Seminar Modules (1 credit/module, 3 modules required)
- 11 Elective Courses (3 credits each) Elective courses are any non-core courses
*Students who do not take a summer course will need to take four courses one semester to finish in two years. This can be done at any time during a student's studies, but the second or third semester is recommended.
