Employment at Georgetown University is at-will, unless defined otherwise in a written agreement entered into by the University President or his or her designee that specifically covers a particular person's employment. Employment at the University may be terminated at the will of the employee or the University at any time and for any reason without notice or cause. No representative of the University has the authority to enter into a contrary agreement except the University President or his or her designee.
