Fr. Tim Godfrey, S.J. joined the Campus Ministry staff in July 2004 as Director of Campus Ministry. Fr. Godfrey most recently served as pastor of St. Patrick Church in Oakland, California where he also mentored Jesuit and lay graduate theological students in pastoral ministry. He has also worked in East St. Louis, Illinois as a public health nurse; and has served as associate pastor of St. Francis Xavier (College) Church in St. Louis, Missouri and St. Ignatius Church in Portland, Oregon. Fr. Godfrey holds a Master of Divinity and a Master of Theology degree from the Jesuit School of Theology in Berkeley; a Master of Social Work degree from Washington University in St. Louis; and a Bachelor of Nursing and a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Louis University. Fr. Godfrey was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and entered the Missouri Province of the Society of Jesus in 1973.

Father Patrick Rogers is a native of the great state of Maryland and hails from a large family complete with ten siblings of which he and his twin brother Peter are the last. Prior to his entrance in the Society of Jesus, Fr. Patrick worked as a musician in the Baltimore/Annapolis area after graduating with a degree in clarinet performance from Towson University.
Father Patrick entered the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) in the summer of 1992 and since then he earned degrees in Philosophy from Fordham University and Theology from The Jesuit School of Theology in Berkeley, California. He was ordained a priest on June 8, 2002 and worked for two years as a Parochial Vicar at St. Raphael the Archangel parish in Raleigh, North Carolina.
In the fall of 2004 Fr. Patrick moved back to his beloved city of New York to study Spanish and volunteer his spare time teaching music and tennis to the young men of Xavier High School as well as to work with the retreat program. Fr. Patrick is an avid sports fan and still enjoys making music with friends.

Catherine J. Heinhold has served as a Roman Catholic Chaplain at Georgetown University since 1999. She spent her first two years on campus as a Chaplain-In-Residence in Copley Hall. In addition to directing Catholic Ministry on Main Campus, Catherine coordinates the Catholic Retreat Program and co-directs the Magis Immersion and Justice Program. She serves on the University's LGBTQ Working Group. Before coming to Georgetown, Catherine directed the volunteer program at Christ House, a medical facility for homeless men and women. Catherine loves working with college students (especially on retreats) and also enjoys travel, reading, and exploring the city with friends. She holds an M.Div. from the Washington Theological Union and a B.A. in International Studies from American University.

Dr. Ennio Mastroianni serves full time as Senior Roman Catholic Chaplain. His Doctor of Philosophy degree is in Roman Catholic Systematic Theology from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His doctoral dissertation investigated the Second Vatican Council's assertion that Christian marriage and its family is both a sacramental and an ecclesial reality. Dr. Mastroianni's primary responsibilities entail overseeing the following ministries: (1) to engaged couples desiring to marry at Georgetown University and to parents presenting children for Baptism, (2) to students, faculty, and staff discerning the desire to be full members of the Catholic Church (RCIA), (3) to the Catholic worship community as a member of the Liturgy Team, (4) to undergraduates who want to participate in Campus Renew, small group faith-sharing (5) to colleagues and students in the Catholic Studies Program by serving on the Steering Committee and teaching a course on marriage and family, and (6) to members of the Georgetown University community wanting to use the chapels at Georgetown University. Dr. Mastroianni's previous work experience has been split between diocesan work (Division Director of Evangelization and Family Ministry for the Archdiocese of Baltimore and Religious Education Consultant for the Diocese of Youngstown) and parish work (Pastoral Associate and Director of Religious Education).

Father Alexei Anthony Michalenko is a transplanted New Englander from Adams, Massachusetts and has lived in the DC Metropolitan area since 1961. He graduated from The Catholic University of America, where he earned his BA in Philosophy in 1965 and his MA in Theology in 1969. Alexei, who was ordained to the priesthood according to the Byzantine-Slav Rite in 1968, subsequently studied in Rome, Italy, where he earned a post-graduate degree in Eastern Church Studies at the Pontifical Oriental Institute while residing at the Russian College.
He completed an MS in Psychology, specializing in Pastoral Counseling at Baltimore's Loyola College (Columbia Campus) in 1984 and that same year assumed the post of full-time chaplain at Georgetown University Law Center, where he did his counseling internship. He is a priest of the Byzantine Catholic Eparchy (Diocese) of Van Nuys, California, and ministers in both the Byzantine Catholic and Roman Catholic traditions.
Alexei celebrates Mass on Sundays and from Monday through Friday in St. Thomas More Chapel at the Law Center. He is available at the Law Center for counseling, spiritual direction, sacrament of reconciliation and marriage preparation. He is also a director/guide for the Prayer In Daily Life Retreats at the Center. Current law students, faculty and staff who are planning weddings in the University chapels can make arrangements through him.

David Monaco has served as the Roman Catholic Program Coordinator since 2004. He has a varied background of work and education. A graduate of James Madison University, he was a medic in the US Navy and Marine Corps, prior to college, and worked as a writer and editor, immediately following graduation. During his time at JMU, he was an active member of the Catholic Campus Ministry, volunteering with weekly service programs, leading faith-sharing groups, serving at liturgies, and assisting with retreats. Since 2001, David has been a parishioner at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Georgetown, where he has taught religious education, helped lead the youth group, served as an RCIA sponsor, and served as a leader of the Holy Trinity Young Adult Community. David's interests include the playing the guitar, running, rock climbing, skiing and snowboarding, and travel.

Sister Pat Parachini, a Sister of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary, holds a Doctor of Ministry from the Catholic University of America. Currently she is the Religious Literacy Project Coordinator at Georgetown University and an adjunct professor at the Washington Theological Union. She has served as a staff chaplain in pediatrics at Georgetown University Hospital and a faculty associate of their Center for Clinical Bioethics. In healthcare ministry, Pat has specialized in issues of spiritual care at the end of life and has been part of several medical teams participating in visits to other countries, i.e. Ecuador and more recently, Cyprus, where she has given several presentations at conferences sponsored by the Middle East Cancer Consortium. Pat has been a professor of preaching and pastoral theology, a spiritual director and a formation advisor in a Roman Catholic seminary context for 16 years in the Maryland/DC area. She has led directed retreats, preached retreats and days of reflection, facilitated workshops for adult faith formation and was a director of religious education, a campus minister, and a middle school/high school teacher. Pat is a member of the Catholic Theological Society of America, the North American Academy of Liturgy, Spiritual Directors’ International and the Catholic Association of Teachers of Homiletics. Pat has authored two books: Lay Preaching: State of the Question and A Guide for Lay Preachers.

Sister Helen Scarry, R.J.M. is the Roman Catholic Chaplain in Campus Ministry at Georgetown University responsible for ministering to the spiritual needs and programs related to the students, faculty and staff of the School of Nursing and Health Studies and the Medical School; coordinating various ministry and liturgical programs for these Schools; collaborating with and being a supportive team member of the Ignatian Retreat Program; representing Campus Ministry on designated student affairs committees, service projects and activities of the entire campus faith community.
Sr. Scarry represents and serves as a primary resource for Roman Catholic students, and extends these services and pastoral care, with sensitivity to other traditions when appropriate, and in collaboration with the Chaplains and Coordinators of these other traditions. As the Roman Catholic Chaplain, Sr. Scarry "seeks to be of assistance to the University community, especially when celebrating the religious aspect of significant moments in the life of the community."

Gregory Shadley is the Sacristan for Campus Ministry. He does a variety of tasks from the care and maintenance of the various chapels on campus to setting up and preparing the various liturgies that take place in the chapels. He previously worked as the head of the classical music department and classical music buyer at Tower Records in Washington, DC. Gregory also worked for the Cleveland Orchestra and WCLV-FM in Cleveland, OH. He attended John Carroll University in Cleveland.

A native of Pittsburgh, Russell Weismann holds music degrees from Yale and Duquesne Universities in addition to having completed post-graduate studies at Carnegie Mellon University. At Yale, Russell was the University Chapel Organist, a Teaching Fellow in Renaissance Musicology at the Yale School of Music and a co-coordinator for campus ecumenical Evening Prayer. During his undergraduate studies, Russell was the Associate Music Director at Saint Paul Cathedral in Pittsburgh. He has been involved in Catholic and ecumenical ministries for over 15 years.
An active performer, Russell has offered recitals throughout the United States and England and was a featured recitalist during the 2004 American Guild of Organists’ national convention in Los Angeles. His graduate research concerning the effects of the Enlightenment on the sacred music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart has recently been published by the Gregorian Institute of America. In his spare time, Russell enjoys listening to the pop music of the 60's and 70's, mountain biking, enhancing his knowledge of high - performance German automobiles and traveling.

Sister Dorinda Young, SSJ, a member of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Erie, PA, has been a Roman Catholic Chaplain at Georgetown University since 1982. She began full time in the School of Nursing where she began Faculty Discussion Groups centered on prayer and spirituality, as well as Days of Recollection for the Nursing Students. She was a Director for both the Agape and Silent retreats. In 1989, she was asked to become a part time Roman Catholic Chaplain at the Law Center; when she moved into the Gewirz Student Residence as Chaplain-In-Residence in 1993, she began a full-time ministry at GULC. Her particular interests are facilitating the on-campus "Prayer-in-Daily-Life" retreats, prayer and spirituality, women's issues, marriage preparation and personal and faith counseling. She serves on GULC's Committee on Public Interest and Community Service. Sister Dorinda Young has her B.S. degree from her community's college, Villa Maria in Erie, PA. and her M.A. in Religious Education from Fordham University, with a concentration on Campus Ministry. She has been involved with Catholic Campus Ministry Association's annual conferences over many years.
