Theresa Leonetti Theresa M. Leonetti was born in Philadelphia, PA and resided there until going to college in Scranton, PA. It was there, at Marywood College, that she earned a BA in Music with a concentration in Music Therapy and a minor in Religious Studies. She always knew that God had given her talents which she could combine to help people through music and religion. After college, Theresa participated in a mission service trip to Peru and successfully completed a six month internship in music therapy at a psychiatric hospital in New Jersey. She then worked for three years as a theraputic staff support for children with special needs followed by two additional mission trips, one to Mexico and one to Dominica, West Indies. In 1998, Theresa was awarded the Alphonsian Scholarship from the Redemptorist Priests and Brothers to study theology at Washington Theological Union. While attending the Union, she also served as a Chaplain-in-Residence in New South here at Georgetown. Theresa received a Master's of Divinity in May 2003, and then served as Coordinator for Pastoral Ministry with Covenant House in New York City. Now serving as a Chaplain-in-Residence for Harbin, Theresa also serves as a campus minister at the Academy of the Holy Cross in Kensington, MD.
