Angela Senander

Angela Senander is a Chaplain-in-Residence in New South and a member of the faculty in the Systematic and Moral Theology Department at Washington Theological Union. Angela earned a B.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame, an M.A. in theology from Boston College, an S.T.L. from Weston Jesuit School of Theology and a Ph.D. in theological ethics from Boston College. She is interested in liberation theology, social justice, Ignatian spirituality, liturgy and the Catholic Church. As a professor first at St. Joseph College in Connecticut and then at Boston College, she had the opportunity not only to teach freshman but also to accompany students grieving the death of a loved one, exploring what it means to be spiritual, and wrestling with ethical questions. Angela enjoys conversation, racquetball, canoeing and traveling internationally.
