alert and sensitive to creation,
to this world and its people,
in hours of contemplation
when we are totally present
for God,
in times of real involvement,
suffering and pain
when the whole situation
is beyond our own power,
commitment happens
again and again,
when very quietly,
in the silence of our heart,
we respond with an always new
‘yes’ to our God.
