Brenda Bertrand
Chaplain-In-Residence - Harbin 519
Brenda Bertrand is passionate about helping emerging leaders reach their potential - personally, spiritually, and professionally. She comes to Georgetown with almost 15 years of experience working with young adults, as well as a diverse career in the worlds of media, higher education, international missions, and politics.
Born and raised in America’s paradise, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Brenda ventured to America to pursue Bachelor’s and Master's degrees in Communication and a diploma in biblical studies at Oral Roberts University and the University of Texas respectively. She currently works as a training consultant for Growing Leaders, Franklin Covey, and SkillPath. She is also an active member at Capital Life Church, serving as a member of both the women's ministry leadership team and worship band. When not working or ministering, Brenda mentors young women at universities nationwide and finds any excuse to sit by the ocean, eat strange foods, and travel worldwide, adding to her globe-trekking list of 30 countries.
She is honored to serve the Georgetown University campus as a Chaplain-in-Residence in Harbin Hall.
