Rev. L. Elaine Hall

Rev. L. Elaine Hall is a Chaplain-in-Residence in New South Hall. A North Carolina native, Elaine is pursuing ordination in the United Methodist Church. She is a graduate of Davidson College and Yale Divinity School who has worked at parishes in North Carolina, Texas, Connecticut, Idaho, and Virginia. She currently serves as an associate pastor at Springfield United Methodist Church.

Elaine has special interests in the intersections of theology, worship, and ethics, and in the life of ecumenical families. In her free time, Elaine enjoys hiking, camping, ultimate frisbee, quilting, cooking, and reading. She is joined on campus by her husband, Clint, a Ph.D. candidate in the Georgetown Department of Philosophy. They are expecting their first child in December 2007.
