Your Wedding at Georgetown University

Dahlgren Chapel, Copley Crypt Chapel, and St. William's Chapel are  available for the weddings of Georgetown University full-time students (currently enrolled in a degree program), full-time faculty and staff and their children, and alumni who acquire special permission from the Archdiocese of Washington.

In order to be married in Dahlgren Chapel or Copley Crypt, one of the persons to be married must be Roman Catholic and the ceremony must be a Catholic wedding ceremony.  St. Williams is available for all other religious traditions.

To determine if one is eligible for a wedding, please read the General Wedding Information sheet.  After eligibility is determined, a date and time may be requested for your wedding.  Please call our Administrative Assistant at: sacraments@georgetown.edu or by phone at (202) 687-6880.

After the initial contact with the Assistant, interested couples should fill out the following two forms in preparation for their Pastoral Visit with Dr. Ennio Mastroianni:

The Pastoral Visit will confirm your wedding.  These visits take place Thursday mornings between 9am-12pm and Friday afternoons between 3pm and 6pm.  The fee for Weddings is $600.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to call or email.
