Muslim

Muslim Ministry is focused on providing worship services and religious support for Georgetown’s Muslim community as well as providing accurate information about Islam and Muslims to interested members of the greater Georgetown community and area.
The Copley Muslim Prayer Room provides five daily congregational prayers for the students, faculty, staff, and visitors of Georgetown University. In addition to these worship services, Friday prayers, Qiyam Al-Layls, and faith activities, such as weekly halaqas, Islamic lecture series, and Ramadhan iftars are conducted at various times during the academic year.

Finally, Muslim Ministry provides all members of Georgetown’s Muslim faith community an outlet for brotherhood and support on-campus. In addition to its on-campus activities, it also arranges retreat programs that reinforce this bond and facilitate religious reflection in an outdoor setting.
