  • Gervase Programs
The Gervase Programs is a diverse collection of programs dedicated to enhancing intellectual life on campus and includes the Carroll Fellows Initiative, the Office of the Fellowship Secretary, GUROP, and the Undergraduate Honor Council.  Specifically, the Carroll Fellows Initiative (CFI) helps develop tomorrow's leaders through a unique curriculum, research opportunities and the fostering of entrepreneurial independence.  The Georgetown Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (GUROP) allows students and professors to work together (~70 hours/semester) on engaging research projects related to the faculty's research interests.  Research assistants will develop specific research skills and gain a better understanding of the nature of research enterprise.  The Undergraduate Honor Council is the principal administrative body of the Honor System and expects all members of the academic community, students, and faculty to strive for excellence in scholarship and in character.  Finally, the Office of Fellowship Secretary identifies and recruits highly motivated and accomplished students who are interested in application to the most highly competitive national and international fellowships and scholarships including the Fulbright, the Rhodes, the Marshall, the Mitchell, the Truman and the Gates.
