National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency Resume Submission

The mission of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) is to analyze imagery and data from many sources and incorporate it into visual displays of essential information for use in national defense, homeland security, and safety of navigation.

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) is currently accepting
resumes for a November 2009 invitation-only hiring event to be held in
the Washington, DC area.  The organization is seeking entry- to mid-career level candidates, pay bands 2 to 3, interested in joining its workforce supporting national security objectives of the United States.

Resumes submitted through this assignment opportunity notice will be
actively screened and applicants whose background, experience, and skill
set meet the requirements of the targeted positions for which NGA will be
hiring will be contacted for an interview during the month of October.  Most individuals selected from this event will not fill current vacancies, but rather, fill future vacancies as they occur.  Applicants must be able to obtain and retain a Top Secret security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information.  In addition, applicants are subject to a Counterintelligence Polygraph (CI) examination in order to maintain access to Top Secret information.  All employees are subject to a periodic examination on a random basis in order to determine continued eligibility.  U.S. citizens only.  Must apply online at:  https://www1.nga.mil/NGAJobs/Pages/default.aspx by September 4.  Additional information is on Symplicity.
