Career development professionals are available in the SFS Graduate Career Development Center to help you develop your personal career plan. Click here to make an appointment. At an advising session, you can:
• Prepare a Personal Career Plan
• Discuss relevant sectors, fields, and employers in the international affairs community
• Identify potential networking contacts to facilitate the job or internship search
• Review your resume, cover letter, or other job/internship application materials
If you would like to explore your personality type, the Center offers the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) self-assessment. After taking this online assessment, Anne Steen can meet with you to review your results and discuss how the assessment might impact your career planning. There is a $25 fee for this service.
You may also schedule a advising session to conduct a mock interview. Please bring the description of the job or internship for which you are applying and any application materials. You will practice answering interview questions, followed by feedback on style and content.
