Academic Programs

The Center for Eurasian, Russian and East European Studies (CERES) directs one of the nation's preeminent Master's degree programs, focusing on the political, economic, social, cultural and historical complexity of the vast Eurasian, Russian and East European region.  CERES also oversees Turkish studies at Georgetown. Students plan a directed curriculum that culminates in a capstone seminar and research project that they present to students and faculty before graduation.
