  • Request a Brochure--In an effort to conserve resources, MSFS has limited production of printed material and uploaded our brochure to our web site. To view a JPEG version, click here. We appreciate your support of this effort and encourage you to access our web site for the most up-to-date information. To join the MSFS prospective student listserv, please click here to fill out an online form. Under the "Desired Area of Study" field, select "Foreign Service."
  • Apply Online-- access the online application, the preferred method of application, managed by the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS). GSAS processes all applications, credentials and standardized tests.

Financial aid

Expenses

There are two web sites which provide information on expenses:

  • The Office of Student Financial Services (OSFS) manages financial assistance for the "Main Campus" of Georgetown and may be reached at http://finaid.georgetown.edu/coagrad.htm. MSFS students follow the tuition rates outlined for the "Main Campus" and the "Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS)".
  • The Office of Student Accounts (OSA) handles billing and method of payment information http://studentaccounts.georgetown.edu/.
  • JD/MSFS tuition for the year the student takes courses exclusively at the School of Foreign Service will be the current annual tuition for the MSFS Program. Tuition for the remaining years will be charged at the Law Center rate. 
  • MSFS/MBA students pay MBA tuition rates.
